BAND NAME "... (W)e just started teasing (bass player) Dan (Atanassov) a little bit, saying, 'What kind of stuff do y'all eat in Bulgaria?' ... And he told us a story that said when he was a little boy he had a pet goat. And he went to school or whatever, and he came back that night; on the table was fried goat. And he's like, 'Where's my pet?' And they said, 'You're eating him.' ... We all looked at each other and said we're Fried Goat."

WORST PERFORMANCE: Fried Goat in Northridge neighborhood, Evans, 2009. "After we got everything set up, it started raining. ... Right after we got (our equipment) all packed, all the way back up into the studio up at my house, the rain stopped and it was dry. But we still jammed in the studio."
