The current recessional situation in America is being worsened by our Congress and our President. The uncertainty and resultant national stress is being fueled by President Barack Obama, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senator Harry Reid. Each citizen, especially those who disagree with the above statement, should ask themselves the following questions:
If Obama says he can salvage billions in waste and fraud in Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security to support his agenda, why isn't he salvaging those billions regardless of his agenda?
If Pelosi and Reid manage to pass an agreed upon "Cap & Trade" bill, which Obama has stated will probably triple each household's electricity costs, wouldn't you hesitate to buy an Obama-approved, partially electrically fueled motor vehicle and plug it into your household electric outlet each day?
If the government's track record of being bilked out of billions of dollars in Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security is true, wouldn't a government-run insurance plan be bilked too?
If you were buying a new home and the seller's Realtor presented you with a 2,000 page document to sign at closing, would you sign it?
Obama, Pelosi and Reid are prepared to sign similar size bills that will likely result in the destruction of our dollar, our economy and our freedom to make our own decisions.

Our senior Socialist senator Saxby is a big supporter of Cap and Trade bill because it increases ETHANOL subsidies and our junior Socialist senator Johnny has just finished working with Reid to write and pass a $24 Billion fraued filled taxpayer rip off housing bill. We have work to do in Georgia without worring about other states.

The Democrats have held the purse strings and control of congress or at least one chamber of congress for some time now, They wrote the bills and spent the money, not the Republicans.
The Repubs were too busy lining their pockets to write bills for "the little people", so, now it`s time to set the balance the other way. How long did it take Bush to screw it up? Probably about 2 weeks so I see your problem with wanting instant sucess. It takes a lot longer to un-do something than to get it wrong. Measure twice, cut once didn`t ever occur to Bush. He had a lifetime of failures which support the "Peter Principal". Which indicates an idiot will be promoted to his highest level of incompetance. You will not see any "overnight miracles" so give the man a chance. There is somewhat less graft and deviant methods of taking the money. No one has answered "where did the money go?" yet...

We will at least have "free" health care while we are going cold and hungry. Does the health care bill say anything about jobs so we can maybe pay for our own medical care and feed our families. Grocery prices (along with most everything else) going through the roof and the idiots want us to think things are getting better?

I hate to tell Gene but any closing on a house probably is covered by many thousands of legal law documents. These documents include laws on interest payments, tax payments, bank payments, insiurance payments etc. etc.. Just because it isn't signed at closing dosen't mean there isn't a supporting state or federal policy or law included in the transaction. I really wonder what the page count would be for all the laws that cover insurance companys operations right now?

lol, got that yesterday off here. Speaking about being politically correct. Not all tigers are man killers. Statistics show that most tigers are man killers.
