THE AUGUSTA COMMISSION paid a consulting firm $74,000 to "determine whether the Utilities Department was ready to run the (water treatment) plant itself." If it's necessary to hire outside help to do the job that's supposed to be done by the Utilities Department, why have a Utilities Department? A RAVE TO FREEDOM of speech and a rant to the judicial system. They should do away with part-time judges all together. They are allowed to do private attorney practices as a part-time judge. What is the outcome when they represent a client in front of their counterpart judge? Go figure. The system is corrupt and when juvenile court is involved the best interest of children is neglected. They don't even know or care about the whole picture.
