THIS IS A RAVE for Obama for cutting Medicare. These old fogies have been living off the system too long and now they're going to have to get off some of that cash stuffed in the mattress and pay their own way.
IF THE CHRONICLE is going to show pictures on Spotted from the UGA games, you need to show pictures from the USC games, too. Columbia is closer than Athens is. There is no reason why there should not be pictures from the Carolina games! It's not fair the obnoxious rednecks get the attention and the sophisticated people don't.
TO THE RANTER of the woman who would not give the three kids candy because they did not have a costumes. Seriously?? How many costumes does Martha Stewart or Better Homes and Gardens come up with that cost little to nothing to make. I send my Rave to the woman who did not give your children candy.
WHEN THE HOODLUMS are caught that defaced the Confederate monument, they had better be tried for a hate crime for what they wrote. If I or any other white person had done the same thing to Martin Luther King's statue or any other black's statue or monument and used the N-word we would be. It's time to stop this political correctness and reverse discrimination.
A RANT IN RESPONSE to discrimination of gays. I doubt many folks realize that gays are everywhere. We fix your cars, sew your daughters' wedding gowns, teach your kids and treat you when you're ill. So before you comment at least know what you're talking about. Most of us do not seek your approval we rarely got that from our own families and we survived!
THE ASSOCIATED PRESS did not mention in its first long, lead story that the major who killed 13 Army soldiers at Fort Hood was a Muslim. The first mention of that by AP was the Nov. 8 story which screamed, "Muslims wary of backlash." It's good to know whose side AP's on.
I WANT TO GIVE KUDOS to the legendary Sonic Boom of the South Marching Band of T.W. Josey. No matter what people say they are still the classy band of Augusta. That was extremely rude and immature of Laney High Schools band, band director, band booster, etc. to allow them to play while Josey was trying to leave in a graceful and classy matter.
A RANT TO THE AGENCY people crying about budget cuts. When you don't have enough money to buy all the groceries, you don't cut back the meat and bread -- you cut back the dessert.
