Roosevelt E. Brooks (NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C.)

NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Mr. Roosevelt E. Brooks, 85, of Fairwood Avenue, entered into rest November 5, 2009 at University Hospital. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. Mr. Brooks was a member of First Baptist Church of North Augusta. He was a retired New York City Police officer and a United States Army Veteran. Survivors include his wife, Georgia McCain Brooks; two daughters, Diane King (Michael), Woodstock, Ga. and Karen Reynolds (Allen), Indian Trail, N.C.; a brother, Arnold Brooks (Esther), Baltimore, Md.; four grandchildren, Gail Jackson, Indian Trail, N.C., Deborah Winfield, Charlotte, N.C., Alicia Krim (Gerald), Woodstock, Ga. and Michael R. King (Jenny), Kearny, N.J.; four great-grandchildren, Tashonna Jackson, Amani Krim, Rashad Winfield and Justin Krim; one great-great-grandchild, Jasyiah Morgan; a host of other relatives and friends.
