NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Mrs. Shirley A. Cummings Spann, 50, of Stave Court, entered into rest November 1, 2009. Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Saturday, November 7, 2009, at Zion Fair Baptist Church with the Rev. Bruce Wright officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Spann, a native of Barnwell County, was a member of Zion Fair Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, Irvin Spann, Jr.; her mother, Eva M. Johnson Cummings; a sister, Rosetta Cummings; two brothers, Leon (Kathleen) Cummings and Curtis (Teresa) Cummings; aunts, Edith Bryant, Virginia Royal, Rosa Lee Bryant, and Mary Ellen Cummings; uncles, Will (Nona) Cummings and Rudell (Mary) Cummings; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
