ATLANTA, Ga. - On November 2, 2009, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Atlanta, Glenn Edward Duvall, age 55, passed from this life to the church triumphant after a valiant battle against cancer. Glenn had been born in Augusta, GA, on July 26, 1954, to David L. and Eldna Duvall. The eldest of three children, he leaves behind his mother as well as his sisters, Shirley Whitley and Amy Lee, and his wife, Marjorie Lusch Duvall, along with ten nieces and three nephews. In addition to his significant contributions to the business world as a managerial accountant and cost analyst, Glenn participated enthusiastically in musical endeavors, particularly those in his church. He will be remembered by all for his sharp, insightful wit, his kind heart, and his endless generosity toward those in need. He tried his best to follow Christ's example, and we are sure he is now accompanying the angel choirs with the sweet sound of his trumpet. His family and many friends already miss him terribly and always will love him. God bless you, Glenn! The family will receive friends on Friday, Nov. 6, 2009 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., at Cross and Crown Lutheran Church, Chamblee-Dunwoody Road, Chamblee, GA. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Nov 7, 2009 at 10:00 a.m., at Cross and Crown Lutheran Church with a reception following the service. Arrangements by Cremation Society of the South in Marietta 770-420-5557. Sign the guestbook at AugustaChronicle.com
