TRENTON, S.C. - Mrs. Ella M. Simpkins Young, 84, of Sandy Run Road, entered into rest November 4, 2009 at Trinity Mission Health & Rehab. Center. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. Mrs. Young, a native of Edgefield County, was a member of Science Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include four daughters, Inez Y. (Milton) Elam III, Aiken, S.C., Betty Y. (Calvin) Butler, Trenton, S.C., Sharon Y. (Stanley) Holmes, Aiken, S.C., and Karen Y. (Victor) Lewis, Trenton, S.C.; three sons, Johnnie (Rosa) Young, Jr., Trenton, S.C., Rev. Ronnie (Mattie) Young, Sr., Aiken, S.C., and Sammie (Clara) Young, North Augusta, S.C.; a sister, Mary Lee Pressley, Trenton, S.C.; brother-in-law, Jimmy Young, Edgefield, S.C.; 19 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; two devoted friends, Lizzie Hudson and Ed Master Patterson; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
