WARRENVILLE, S.C. - Eva Huff Turner Rigdon, age 71 of Warrenville, S. C. fought a good fight, finished her course, kept the faith; henceforth there is laid up for her a crown of righteousness in heaven. Eva went to be with her Lord and passed her mantle down to her family on Wednesday, November 4, 2009. She was the wife of Roger Rigdon. She was the wife of the late James A. Turner for thirty-six years. She was the daughter of the late John Samuel Huff and the late Corrie Leach Barton. She is survived by daughters; Crystal (Don) Turner Boyd of Jackson and Angela (Paul) Turner Kneece of Warrenville; brothers, James (Sarah) Huff and Johnnie Huff both of Warrenville; sisters, Margaret Weatherford of Warrenville, Mildred (Bill) Taylor of Aiken and Minnie Pearl (Johnnie) Salters of Ridge Spring; six grandchildren, Regina Branch, Christina Bridgers, Vernon James Snipes, Don Boyd, Jr. Antwan Boyd and Jessica Boyd and seven great grandchildren. She was born in and was a lifelong resident of Aiken County. She was retired from the Warren and Sibley Division of Graniteville Company. She was a member of the Warrenville Church of God. She previously attended Sweetwater Church of God for over twelve years. She was an assistant Sunday School teacher for many years and was a member of Women's Ministries. She was a Godly woman who loved her family and friends. She was always loving and always loved. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2009 at 2:00 PM at the Warrenville Church of God with Rev. Robert Skelton, Rev. Bill Branch and Rev. Phillip Napier officiating. The interment will follow at the Vaucluse Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening, November 6th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Napier Funeral Home. Memorials, in Eva's honor, may be made to the American Cancer Society, 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia, S. C. 29210. Mrs. Rigdon will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
