AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Robert W. Gibson Sr., entered into rest on Friday, October 30, 2009, at Trinity Hospital of Augusta. He leaves to cherish fond memories with his loving wife; Betty Jean Gibson, sons, Robert Willie Gibson Jr. and Benjamin Alexander Gibson; grandchildren, Darryl Gibson, Tameika Davis, and Da'Quan Howard; great grandchild, Khadai Gibson; sisters, Beatrice (Herman) Booker, Ola Gibson, Carrie Wilson, and Robbie (Harry) Cook; mother-in-law, Rosie Williams, sister-in-law, Deloris Cook; adopted mother, Florrine Capers; adopted daughter, Lakeshia Frison; god-children, Katrina Adams and Crystal (Christopher) Fitts; devoted niece and nephew, Christine Lyon and S.J.Johnson Jr., and a host of other relatives and friends.
