Polls open at 7 a.m. Tuesday

WHICH PRECINCTS WILL BE OPEN?

Only Richmond County districts that have contested races will have open polling places Tuesday. If there is no opposition and no one has qualified as a write-in candidate, then the polling places will not be open . Call the Board of Elections at (706) 821-2340 for more information.

WHICH RACES ARE OPPOSED?

The Augusta-Richmond County offices that are up for election and that have opposed races on the ballot are:

- Augusta Commission districts 1, 3 and 5

- Richmond County Board of Education District 5

IS VOTER IDENTIFICATION REQUIRED?

Georgia requires voters to present one of the following:

- Georgia driver's license

- Valid voter identification card

- Other valid photo identification card issued by a branch, department, agency or entity of any state or the U.S. government

- U.S. passport

- Employee identification card issued by any branch, department, agency or entity of the U.S. government, the state or any county, municipality, board, authority or other state entity

- Military photo identification card

- A valid tribal photo identification card

OK. I went there and found a lot of maps (even found my house and which cars I had at the time...) but nothing that shows which DISTRICT is which...
