Isaac P. Blue (WRIGHTSVILLE, Ga.)

WRIGHTSVILLE, Ga. - Funeral services for Mr. Isaac P. Blue, age 81, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 3, 2009, at the Wrightsville First Church of the Nazarene with interment to follow at Westview Cemetery. Rev.'s Danny Woodlieff, Jack Hinton and Charles Lowery will officiate. Mr. Blue was born September 22, 1928 in Washington County; he was the son of the late Thomas P. and Susie Doolittle Blue. He was also preceded in death by his wife, the late Lois Laverne Wilson. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, having served with the United States Army and was retired from Thiele Kaolin Company as a supervisor. He is survived by 2 sons, William Blue and Charles Blue, 2 daughters, Jean Williams and Linda Layton all of Wrightsville, a brother, Thomas Blue of Davisboro, 2 sisters, Annie Sue (Polly) Beasley of North Augusta, SC and Hattie Lee Diederich of Albany, NY, 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 Monday evening at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Charles Blue II, Quentin Blue, Harris Blue, Zach Williams, Julian Pope and Cody Lott.
