Augusta woman says two men raped her

Richmond County police are investigating a complaint from a 24-year-old Augusta woman that she was raped early Friday by two men she had met before briefly.

The woman told investigators she met with two men she knew as "Ricky" and "Andrew" about 2:30 a.m. Friday after they called her and asked her to hang out. The men picked her up in the parking lot at Malibu Jack's on Furys Ferry Road and took her into a home at an unknown location, she told police.

The two men then alternated holding her down and raping her, according to an incident report. They then took her back to Malibu Jack's.

The woman called the Richmond County Sheriff's Office and was taken to the Medical College of Georgia Hospital.

The woman described "Ricky" as a bald black male about 6 feet tall and 180 pounds. She described "Andrew" as a white male about 5 foot 8 inches tall and 200 pounds with brown hair. The men were in a black Ford F-150.

Man changes story of attempted robbery

A 19-year-old Augusta man told Richmond County investigators an unknown man entered his vehicle Friday evening, tried to rob him and then forced him to perform oral sex, according to an incident report.

The man later recanted his story, telling officers he had been "confused."

Originally he told officers an unidentified man entered his car without permission and threatened to bash his head with a large rock if he did not give him money.

When he said he did not have any money, the man forced him to drive from Seventh and Ellis streets to an unknown location and perform oral sex on him, he told police according to the incident report.

The man said he returned to Seventh and Ellis streets and called his parents, who then called Richmond County police. After the original questioning, he later told police that no crime had occurred, the report states.
