HER STORY

Mrs. Neal believes in angels.

After her diagnosis, she was scared. Her mother had a mastectomy and died from recurrence of breast cancer.

She says God revealed a message to her while she was working at an elementary school for her job in Aiken County schools food service.

A boy she had never seen before and hasn't seen since walked through the line with a sticker on his jacket. It was of Jeremiah 30:17: "I will restore health unto you and I will heal thee of thy wounds."

She was stunned, she said.

"That's my angel, that's my answer," Mrs. Neal said.

Her doctor originally said she needed a mastectomy, she said, but final results were a lumpectomy with no lymph node involvement.
