NOV. 7: A workshop and school on building mountain bike trails will be held from 9 a.m. to noon at the Thurmond Lake Visitors Center in Clarks Hill, S.C. The event is sponsored by the CSRA chapter of the Southeast Off Road Bicycle Association and will be taught by the International Mountain Bicycling Association's trail crew, whose members will discuss train building and maintenance. The classes are being held along with the SORBA-CSRA chapter Bike Festival from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Deer Run picnic area at Lake Springs Day Use Area at Thurmond Lake.
