Baseball

- The Augusta GreenJackets will play host to the first-ever Doctors Hospital Pro Classic youth baseball tournament Oct. 23-25 at Lake Olmstead Stadium. The weekend event will feature five area 15-U teams. Tickets are $5 and will be sold at the gate. Concessions will be sold throughout the event. Boxing

- The Augusta Boxing Club will present monthly sparring matches on the last Thursday of each month at 5:30 p.m. The matches are free to the public. Participants will be members of the Augusta Boxing Club's beginner and intermediate class (ages 7 and up).

Football

- The Carolina Panthers are looking for children ages 7-14 to participate in their annual Junior TopCats Program. Program members get to participate in a halftime show on Oct. 25 during the Panthers game vs. the Buffalo Bills at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte. Cost includes green fee, cart, lunch and prizes. Pick your Greenbrier athlete or have one appointed to your team. The Greenbrier athlete plays for free.
