The Bulldogs (4-1, 2-0 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) built a 27-2 halftime lead after Adams returned a fumble 31 yards for a touchdown and Bush raced 37 yards with a recovered fumble for another touchdown. Also, Blake Erickson kicked three field goals.
The Spartans (2-3, 1-2) managed only 67 yards rushing on 30 carries. Dennis Brown was 16 for 27 for 138 yards passing for Norfolk State, including a 52-yard touchdown pass to P.J. Hayden.
The Bulldogs have won two in a row and six of the past seven games in the series. The past two games were decided by a total of eight points.

In Valdosta, Ga., for the second week in a row, Valdosta State quarterback Kellen Lewis passed for more than 300 yards and rushed for more than 100 as the Blazers defeated Henderson State.
Lewis completed 22 of 34 passes for 314 yards and two touchdowns and rushed 18 times for 112 yards and a pair of TDs.
Valdosta State improved to 3-3, 2-2 in the Gulf South Conference. Henderson State fell to 3-4, 3-2 in the conference.

In Harrisonburg, Va., Ben Keating caught a touchdown pass in the fourth quarter and Richmond rallied to beat James Madison.
Richmond, the defending Football Championship Subdivision champion, has won 15 in a row.
Keating scored all three touchdowns for Richmond (5-0, 3-0 Colonial Athletic Association).
