The fans also rose to their feet when he came up with two on and one out in the bottom half, and were still clapping even after he grounded out weakly to the pitcher.
Holliday made a costly error in Game 2, misjudging a fly ball with two outs in the ninth inning that set up the tying and winning runs for the Dodgers.
PHILLIES: Left-hander Jamie Moyer is recovering at a Philadelphia hospital from a blood infection.
Moyer's wife, Karen , said in an e-mail to The Associated Press on Saturday that her 46-year-old husband is fine now after an infection following abdominal surgery.
Moyer was expected to stay another night at the hospital.
TWINS: Put third baseman Matt Tolbert on the disabled list with a strained a left oblique muscle.
Twins manager Ron Gardenhire said on Saturday that Tolbert was injured on a check swing during a second-inning at-bat of Game 2 of the American League division series against the New York Yankees.
Tolbert remained in the game Friday night and hit what should have been an RBI single with two outs in the fourth inning, but baserunner Carlos Gomez was tagged out before Delmon Young could score.
Brendan Harris , who will start at third base in Game 3, pinch hit for Tolbert in the sixth inning.
Gardenhire said Tolbert will be replaced on the roster by Brian Buscher .
Buscher hit .235 with two home runs and 12 RBI.
COURTS: The trial of Richard Toohey, who is charged with driving drunk and killing Los Angeles pitcher Nick Adenhart, has been delayed for six months at the request of his new defense attorney.
Superior Court Judge Richard Toohey rescheduled the trial for 22-year-old Andrew Thomas Gallo to April 19, 2010, to give Deputy Public Defender Bryan Harris time to prepare a defense.
