It seems that whenever a gathering of conservatives occurs, leftist malcontents feel duty-bound to appear and put on a show for the media that proves again just how ignorant and misguided they are. The Sept. 26 Aiken rally for U.S. Rep. Joe Wilson was no different.
Nancy Pelosi Jr. yelled out, "Republicans are racist!" Naturally, if you disagree with President Obama, what reasonable explanation could there be? Regardless, I asked the ACORN washout, "You're talking about Grand Kleagle and Exalted Cyclops Robert Byrd?" She refused to respond. But don't worry. After Obama, Vice President Joe Biden, and Pelosi, Sen. Byrd becomes president.
Act II Scene I involves her howling something about Democrats' "courage" for passing the Civil Rights Act of 1964. I told her that President Kennedy refused to support and vote for the Civil Rights Act of 1957 proposed by President Eisenhower, and President Johnson needed Republican support in 1964 because the Democratic majority refused to support civil rights legislation.
Now this is funny; glistening with pomposity: Mensa's local chapter president said, "The Civil Rights Act was passed in 1964. Learn your history" upon hearing this, thinking people stated that it is she who needs to visit history. Furthermore, I never said it was not passed in 1964, but, being a good indentured servant of the Democratic Party and the media (as if a difference exists), she just had to keep running her mouth illustrating pure, unregulated ignorance and arrogance synonymous with history revisionists who live in the past and are downright miserable.
... Obama lied, for if he did not, why did the White House issue a statement inside of 72 hours claiming to have removed the "free" health care for criminals, i.e. illegal aliens? Democrats insist on ramming an 1,100-plus-page bill through Congress without knowing or caring what is in it. So typical!

And 1964 was when most folks in the south who called themselves democrats at that time left the democratic party and switched to the republican party...They felt the democratic party was too closely aligned to the civil rights movement...Don't believe me go ask your parents when did they become republicans if they were here in the south...

Dems have a racist past that far exceeds anything Republicans are guilty of. My parents never became Republicans, but they did vote Republican at times. By the way, if most folks in the south became Republican in 1964, why is it we didn't have a Republican governor in Georgia until 2002? Tell me, how does that crow taste?
Nativeson, those are the facts. They became Dixiecrats then Republicans. All they have is Byrd one person. Strom had thousands. Do a little research on the Dixiecrat convention in Birmingham and how McCarthy and the repubs adopted their stance on civil rights and they all became repubs. Byrd, moved on past that mess and the rest found open arms in the GOP.

Nevermind the inconvenient truth that Democrats have the White House, a filibuster-proof Senate and a massive majority in the House. If you could grasp the concept of cause and effect, you might understand what we have lost by appointing George W. Bush president. The far rights talk hasn't led to much in the form of votes as D Brooks pointed out Limbaugh, Hannity, Beck and all the talkers hate McCain and he still won the nomination. Now the party is shifting farther and farther to the fringe. So if the dems are lucky we end of with Palin on the top of a ticket and Barack will break Reagan's landslide victories.

Do the democrats who yell racist at these rallies mean the republicans are prejudice against Blacks or Whites? If Obama is half white are the repubs anti-black or anti-white?
