Florida quarterback Tim Tebow went through more tests and had his coach tagging along.
Coach Urban Meyer said he went through balance and memory tests with his star player Tuesday because he was curious about the post-concussion process.
Meyer said Tebow's results were encouraging.
"He did good," Meyer said.
Tebow also attended a team meeting and spoke briefly with some of his teammates, but he did not go out to the practice field. Meyer said Tebow still has a headache and did not watch any video on doctors' orders.
CLEMSON: Quarterback Willy Korn says he'll remain with the Tigers, even though he's frustrated at not playing.
The backup told multiple media outlets that he had hoped to play against Georgia Tech on Sept. 10 and last week against Texas Christian University. Korn said he won't review his future until after the season.
SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA: Tailback Stafon Johnson probably wouldn't have survived his weightlifting accident without his muscular athlete's neck, which helped maintain his airway when a weight bar crashed down on it, a doctor said.
Johnson, who is unlikely to play again for the Trojans, could communicate non-verbally with family members and teammates Tuesday morning, less than 24 hours after his bench-pressing accident in the weight room. The bar crushed his neck and larynx, which required seven hours of surgery.
Johnson's fitness helped him survive, said Dr. Gudata Hinika , trauma medical director at California Hospital Medical Center.
YANKEE STADIUM BOWL: A college football bowl game will be played at Yankee Stadium starting in 2010. The New York Yankees have scheduled a news conference today to announce the details.
