Racist accusations grossly misapplied

President Clinton said it best to all of those who continually play the race card.....The majority of hard working american tax payers didn't support health care take over under the Clinton Administration nor did they support many of his policies to grow the government and he didn't spend 1/2 as much as Obama already has spent. They were verbally against it under a white president and they are against it under a black president because rational educated americans know it has nothing to do with race but everything to do with limited government that does not enable its citizens to become dependent on the government for everything. Putting the label of racist on someone who oposes President Obama's polices does nothing positive for our President and needs to end. Former President Carter, although well intentioned doesn't have a clue and just wants to push for bigger government any way possible.

Facts, not iinflammatory rhetoric, must be the currency of any rational debate about improvements- positive changes- in the manner in which medical care is rationed and financed in our nation.

To say that all opposition to Obama is based on race is just as foolish as saying that none of it is.

Joe Wilson utters 2 words and is accused of being racist.....not one word had anything to do with race, but the accusations came just the same. Opposing socialized healthcare brought accusations of racism from Jimmy Carter....the irrational accusations just keep coming when they can't come up with a legitimate argument.

Making the racism accusation with no evidence is what is foolish.....When someone presents an argument, present a counter argument based on facts....you don't have to just cry racism.

Now the Democratic Senators are refusing to allow Americans to see the Health care bill before it is voted on..Why?....To prevent more racism !

car craft you are right . the reason why all bills passed and worked on are never read is to prevent racism. but they are not even read by their sponsers or supporters in congress let alone us poor citizens. this is to insure that racism wont creep into the democratic party. you know the ones who see different groups of citizens not americans. the ones who were against voting rights etc in the sixities. . or it might also be that they just dont understand the bills they pass and a possibility that rep. conyers suggested weeks ago. and he is one of the dims leaders. or we are right it is a power grab to cripple political dissent in this country. so either way we who oppose it are screwed we will be called racist / or against mentally challenged congressmen.

You can oppose liberal policies if you're conservative, I have no problem with that. However, you can't ignore the blatant racism that is exhibited by a few conservative nuts. I frequently read the comments that are left and there is no way anyone can deny that race plays a major role in the thought process of some residents here in Augusta. My caution to all is a reminder that we are no longer living in the 60's and there is no way African Americans will tolerate the treatment of the past. Once my racist friends realize that we might all be better off.

The racist card is the left's way of saying their actions and policies have no merit. This obvious ruse was pointed out before Obama won the election. Obama himself made it clear that all that "...don't look like him" would be labeled racist. Now it's happening. Only the uninformed and willingly blind are surprised.

Since a a well known publication issued a report of a recent study saying before babies are six months old they are racist we have a different situation. Since folks are born that way and can't help it then they need special protection just like the gays who claim to be born that way. If fact everyone needs sensitivity training so they don't say bad things about those who are racist. In fact if they are born that way they need to be celebrated and have parades etc. Surely the liberal media can't be wrong on anything can they? We can't have it both ways; either people can control their actions including gays or they cannot, including those who are racist. Correction: According to Fox News, Democrats feel that anyone who opposes or questions President Obama's policies is labeled racist. Both CS and Tig are racist because they can never state a FACT without using a racial slur when referring to the president. I have NEvER seen either one simply give us a fact and leave it alone.
