WARRENVILLE, S.C. - Entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, September 22, 2009, Ms. Betty Lewis Barfield of Warrenville, S. C., wife of the late Billy A. Barfield and daughter of the late Joe L. Lewis and the late Ellen Elizabeth Toole. She is survived by a son, Billy D. Barfield of Warrenville; daughters, Shirley (Lee) Grover, Brenda Smith and Angela (William) Owens all of Warrenville; a brother, H. D. (Betty) Lewis of Warrenville; sisters, Earline (Gerald) Britt of Warrenville, Glenda (Gene) Leroy of Macon, Ga. and Janice (Ronald) Collum of Warrenville; seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter; two sisters, Reba Davis and Helen Huff. She was born in Lyons, Ga. but has been a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S. C. She was a member of Warrenville First Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, sister, and grandmother and will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched. To be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord; therefore, Betty is just 'Going Home'. A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2009 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home with Rev. Billy D. Barfield and speaker, Daniel Smith officiating. The interment will follow at the Warrenville Cemetery. The pallbearers will be grandchildren, Robbie Till, Ken Willis, Matthew Gresham, Scott Hunter, Richard Grover and Billy Gresham. Tommy Gresham and Brett Johnson will serve as Honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends at Napier Funeral Home tonight, Wednesday, September 23rd from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
