When an apology is given to a person and accepted by that person, that should be the end of it -- and in most cases that is true. However, you have to understand that the majority of our elected officials live in a different world than average red-blooded, taxpaying, law-abiding, God-fearing people.
Rep. Joe Wilson apologized to President Obama, but that was not enough for the majority of the elected officials. According to these pathetic officials, Wilson's conduct was a breach of decorum and degraded the proceedings.
I will ask the same officials and the most corrupt administration I have seen in my 73 years for an apology for what you have forced on my children and grandchildren. If you think for one minute this administration actually cares about your health care, your bank, your car or your insurance, you have been had.
Can Americans not see that they are losing more and more of their freedom little by little? Look at what the government is in bed with -- cap-and-trade, SEIU, ACORN, the ACLU's John Adams Project -- and apologizing to other countries for being Americans, bowing to other leaders. The United States of America bows to no one but almighty God . If we forget that, we will cease to be the nation we are.
Gentlemen, have you no shame?
Before you call me racist, please remember there are a lot more white lawmakers in Washington than any other race. This administration wants nothing but power .

the current crop of polliticians are the most corrupt I HAVE EVER SEEN and are a bunch of liars. they are destroying this great country. some day you koolaide drinkers will wake up and no longer have a sugar daddy govt giving you all your wants. what are you going to do then?? and who are you going to blame then?
Of course, old is bad . . . and relative. We have nothing to contribute. Perhaps, we should just be given our medication and put in the back room.

The country is a changing there Harry. I know as someone born in the 30's you never thought you would see a black man as prez in your lifetime. Heck I am 34 and didn't think so. MOST have embraced this change and are working to make this country better and have constructive debate. Unfortunately, others just throw out buzz works and beginning in Feb after Obama has been prez for about 25 days started having tea parties saying America as we know it was over. Please explain to me what Obama has taken from you and your children and I will listen. Until then just go to tea parties and scream "I want my country back" it will lower your blood pressure.

The second was taken totally out of context--an isolated sentence that can be interpreted only as part of a point then-candidate Obama was making. The third was a comment about the nut cases on conservative talk radio, but Pelosi is as entitled to her opinion (it's her Constitutional right, is it not?) as you are. Reagan was the leader of the deficit spending. Then Cheney came along and said "deficits don't matter". The only prez in my lifetime to really give a darn about deficit spending was Bill Clinton. So 3 repubs Reagan, Bush Sr, and Bush Jr all ran up deficits and Clinton the dem didn't. Republicans are only fiscal conservatives when they don't control where the money is going like now.

Obama, is going to force me to pay for Health insurance or a tax penalty. Also, Obama is going to force me to pay for others health care insurance. That violates my civil rights.

I don't understand the lying on him. Do you think you will pay more or less if more people are in the system. I would say less. If all poor people are already covered by medicaid. This will get small business and their employees. Also, if nothing is none the CBO and other expect a family hc plan to be 22k a year in 2019. That simply means we need reform now and if nothing is done unemployment will skyrocket along with millions more uninsured citizens.

I agree we need health care reform, but not government mandated health care. I don't blame, Obama, for our financial mess. I blame the corrupt two party system! I agree with Obama's message of Change, just not his METHODS for change.
concerned, insurance is a way of spreading the risk. The more people you have in a group, the less risk. So each person pays a little less.
You are subsidizing others' health care NOW, Grasshopper. Explain the exact mechanism by which you will be paying for others' healthcare under the bills in question. (You assume a tax increase that doesn't exist. When you hear that none is forthcoming, you accuse the President of lying.) As for being made to buy health insurance, I thought you were against people subsidizing other people's care... I doubt you're independently wealthy and can afford to pay the full, undiscounted tab for an auto accident or cancer treatment. So, unless you have insurance, WE'LL be paying for that.
