THE HARRISBURG protests have birthed a countywide nuisance property ordinance that will make it easier to rid neighborhoods of dope dealers.

A HUGE RAVE to the Richmond County judge who gave a woman alternative sentencing for shoplifting. We saw her on Wrightsboro Road with a sign. "If you get caught shop lifting. You can be standing next to me."

TO THE PERSON complaining about stupid Southerners: I, too, have lived "up North," and believe me, stupidity is just as rampant there. If the complainer wants to reduce ignorance in the South, I think the best course of action would be to move back up North. This would definitely make the South a more intelligent region.

I AM HAPPY that most of that Richmond County Board of Education System is happy with Dr. Bedden, however, I think that it is unfair the way that he has decided to treat Georgia retired teachers.
