The event was a benefit for GONetwork's SEEDS (Sportsmanship, Ethics, Education, Dedication and Service) program that works to promote awareness of hunting and fishing opportunities for youths 17 and younger.

Brittany Pye, 15, and her dad, Stan Pye, were among more than 100 attendees at the Georgia Outdoor Network's opening day youth dove shoot at the Claibourne Darden Farm in Taliaferro County. These doves were the first ones Brittany ever shot.
