Swine flu risk prompts hospitals to ban kids
SPARTANBURG, S.C. --- Seven hospital systems in Upstate South Carolina are restricting children visiting their hospitals because of swine flu.
Multiple media outlets report the hospitals released joint rules to try to slow the spread of the disease.
Health officials say a high number of swine flu cases have been found in children under 18.
The hospitals say exceptions will be considered for children coming to see gravely ill relatives.
The hospitals involved in the restrictions are Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System, AnMed Health, Bon Secours St. Francis Health System, Cannon Memorial Hospital, Greenville Hospital System University Medical Center, Oconee Medical Center and Palmetto Health Baptist Easley.

THE ARMY SAYS A SOLDIER from Florida has died after being diagnosed with pneumonia during basic training. Media outlets report Army officials said 23-year-old Spc. Christopher Hogg of Deltona, Fla., died Thursday, a week after he was hospitalized with fever and respiratory problems. The Army says he appears to have contracted pneumonia.

If you have a college degree, usually a four year degree, upon entering service you come in as E-4. The Army assumes that the Soldier will be more mature and experienced than the other recruits. I'm telling you man, the Army is a pretty good choice during these tough times.

Drill you children on prevention, clean and sanitize hands often, be aware of what you touch, keep your hands away from your face if they're not clean, assume others aren't taking precautions and don't grab stuff handled by other kids. He could have been prior service with enough separation time to warrant a return to basic. I had about five in my basic training class, years ago.
