Samantha Allen , a 2009 graduate of A.R. Johnson Health Science and Engineering Magnet High School and daughter of Samuel and Patricia Allen, has received a $500 scholarship from the Luvenia Lyons Lee Scholarship Fund.

Benjamin Bashinski , a 2006 graduate of Augusta Preparatory Day School and son of Ben and Debbie Bashinski, of Augusta, has received the James Baker Woods III Memorial Award from Davidson (N.C.) College.
