The Wee Patriots Academy pre-K program is part of the Early Childhood Education class offered to students at Westside High School. In her 35th year of teaching, Director Deborah K. Welcher says this program has been the highlight of her career. "I love children and I love the parents," she said. "It's not about sitting them down with a pencil and paper, it's about active learning. We stay busy during the day."
