so far the comments back up his thesis you name call but dont dispute line by line his thesis. liberal republicans and dems attack sarah palin without even knowing her. yet i would match her accomplishments against any of her critics who think they are so darn smart. this is a common thread liberals all have in common they cant argue ideas because they are all based on things govt has already tried or are doing. name one govt program that is run without fraud and in budget that actually delivers the promises. if you dont agree argue the case. and it is true our national press is a joke with everything this unlawful govt has their hand in our press ought to be screaming bloody murder yet they are silent. why? because the press is liberal and in bed with the prez.

The First Amendment protects speech, but don't protect speech that leads to violence. Ol' Paul here, can't identify a single example of violence against a right-wing citizen based of an ideology. The point: A rationale person would conclude that some of these people are possibly dangerous based on evidence of previous behavior. The language is getting harse and unless some serious attention is given to particular individuals, their vehicles for speech and their speech itself, this could easily become another shameful period in our history. And Oh, the Truth: Ol' Adolf was NOT a person of color.

Are there any well-run government programs? Hmm... Let's see... How about the US Coast Guard, which runs on a shoestring budget, and to whom our nation should give thanks every day? How about Medicare, without which our nation's elderly would have no access to health care? (Private insurance companies have never offered policies to the elderly.) How about the National Park Service, which preserves our nation's treasures? And if you want to look at an institution that never recognizes the public interest, look at the unregulated investment banking industry, whose greedy excesses ran us into the recession. Or consider the health insurance industry, which sucks up a huge percentage of our health care expenditures into huge profits and executive bonuses, while often denying coverage to people who have the temerity to get sick.

If Obamba would get off the health reform platform for a while and give his attention to the unemployment situation it would do more good. Perhaps if people had jobs they could pay for their own health care. He has his priorities completely out of order. The economy and jobs is what the American people need right now. The time for health cae reform can come next year.

I certainly hope this gentleman doesn't feel as threatened criticizing President Obama, as I did criticizing President George "The Second Coming" Bush. I hope everyone realizes Mr. Rosenthal is also as much a patriot for criticizing President Obama, as I was for criticizing President Bush. Finally, I find it very funny that the economy is slowly improving and many people, not just Mr. Rosenthal, are still proclaiming it the end of days: I suppose this is the kind of logic one gets daily taught at Limbaugh University? RHETEOR you made my point. everything you listed runs at a defecit each and every year. and medicare is full of fraud massive over spending and is poorly managed. banks are regulated, oversite by fed and congress and least we forget freddie, fannie and ginnie mae all quasi govt instititions with direct congress oversite are at the heart of the sub prime loan mess with people like dodd and frank in oversight. do not blame all woes on the insurance companies lets look at tort reform and please name one govt run universal health care program that is run well and in budget and no rationing...

The bald guy is Rick Scott, booted for the biggest Medicare fraud case in American history. $1.7 BILLION dollars worth. TL, do you consider President Obama claiming that AARP has endorsed 3200 as misinformation? I think most of what is being called misinformation is more a difference in interpretations of the language. 1000 pages of legalize. This bill contains money for bike paths! Scale it back, take care of the uninsured, and it will pass.

olaf: National Parks are not having problems due to mismanagement. The're having problems due to lack of funding. (Full disclosure: I'm a member of The National Parks Conservation Association) The 2009 budget for the entire National Park Service was around $2.4 billion. Yellowstone alone comprises 3,468 square miles. The NPS also manages historic and archeological sites, Battlefields, national monuments, among many other duties. The NPS manages 84 million acres of land, 4.5 million acres of lakes, oceans and resevoirs, 85,000 miles of rivers and streams, 68,500 archeological sites, 43,000 miles of shoreline, 27,000 historic structures, 12,250 miles of trails, 8,500 miles of roads, and many other responsibilities. Pretty slim budget to handle all of that.
