THOMSON, Ga. - Mr. Donald Crawford "Duck" Morgan, 65, of Wire Rd., Thomson, GA, entered into rest July 28, 2009 at his residence. Memorial Services will be held at 3:00 PM, Friday, July 31, 2009 at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Butch Baston and Tim Ferrell officiating. Mr. Morgan was a native of McDuffie County and was the son of the late Wayne N. Morgan, Sr. and the late Beulah Scruggs Morgan. Mr. Morgan served in the U. S. Navy Reserve during the Cuban Crisis and was retired as a U. S. Postal City Carrier after 30 years of service. He was also a licensed Real Estate agent and was a member of Union Baptist Church. Survivors include: Son: Richard Wayne Morgan and his wife Nancy of Evans, Ga; Daughter: April Morgan Matthews and her husband Danny of Thomson, GA; Brothers: Wayne Morgan, Jr. and his wife Linda, Beech Island, SC, Glenn Morgan and his wife Kathy, Thomson, GA, Gary Morgan, Atlanta, GA; 6 Grandchildren: Morgan Matthews, India Matthews, Anna Matthews, Abigail Morgan, Caleb Morgan, and Daniel Morgan. Memorials may be made to Union Baptist Church P. O .Box 1435 Thomson, GA 30824. Friends may call at the residence of April and Danny Matthews 1062 Ginger Hill Rd.
