AUGUSTA, Ga. - Cain Beck, 41, entered into rest Sunday, July 26, 2009. Cain was a life long resident of Augusta. Memorial services will be held Friday, July 31, 2009, 7:00 PM at Elliott Sons Funeral Home in the Lumpkin Road Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Survivors include his loving wife Denise Beck, his children Marshall Brendan "Bubba" Beck, Green Bay, WI, and twins Brittany Dyna Beck and Brianna Harley Beck of Hephzibah, GA, his parents Mr. Peter B. Beck and Mary Atkins Harris of Augusta, GA. He also leaves behind a brother- in- law, Ray Skinner (Lisa); niece, Alexis Skinner as well as uncles Mr. & Mrs. Joe and Jan Beck of Anderson, SC, Mr. and Mrs. Harris and Lynn Atkins, Mr. and Mrs. James and Elaine Atkins, of Hephzibah, GA., Mr. and Mrs. Allen and Janet Atkins, Shreveport, LA., Mr. Thomas L. Atkins and Mr. Joseph E. Atkins, Jr., Hephzibah, GA. Cain also shared a brotherly bond with many of his cousins. Each was special to Cain in their own unique way. Cain was the grandson of the late Imelda and Paul Beck, Joseph Emmett and Rhoda Atkins and was step-son of the late Lt. Ed Harris. Cain had a remarkable way of brightening up a room with his smile. He was a wonderful man who loved and lived life to the fullest. He didn't touch lives, he touched the heart of every person who ever met him. There will never be another person so genuine and true to his family. Cain worked at Gracewood State School and Hospital for the past 22 years where he was the Warehouse Supervisor. He loved his work and his many friends and co-workers. Cain loved to spend time with his twins Brittany and Brianna. In the evenings he could be found pushing the girls in their stroller, swimming with them in the pool or just sitting on the floor playing or reading stories to them. Cain also had a love for riding motorcycles. His dad gave him his first Indian motorcycle (with a side car) for Christmas just before he turned four years old. He was always happy when he was riding his Harley whether alone or with his friends. If so desired in lieu of flowers memorial contributions made be made to Queensborough Bank for a trust fund for Brittany and Brianna Beck.
