HEPHZIBAH, Ga. - Mr. Mark G. Hines of Woodcock Dr. entered into rest on Sunday, July 19, 2009 at Dwight David Eisenhower Army Medical Center. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2009 at 11 a.m. at B. A. Williams Memorial Chapel with Rev. Moses D. Anderson officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Olive Memorial Garden. Mr. Hines, a native of New Jersey, was a U. S. Air Force veteran and a retiree of the New Jersey Air National Guard. He was a former employee of University Hospital and the U. S. Postal Service. As a patient advisor at MCG, Mr. Hines served on the Health Partners Patient Advisory Group/Adult Hospital, the Family Faculty, the Multiple Sclerosis Center. He also helped to design the MCG Neuroscience Center. Survivors are his wife, Barbara Hines; two sons, Mark E. Hines, Hephzibah, James Hines, New Jersey; one daughter, Alicia Hines, Hephzibah; sister, Katie Hines, Maryland; brother, Harry Hines, Jr., New Jersey; three grandchildren; uncles, Roy Hines, Theodore Hines, Washington, DC; aunt, Esther McIver, Baltimore, MD; mother and father-in-law, Lucille and Sol Fleming, Hephzibah; sister-in-law, Peggy Fleming, NJ; brother-in-law, James Fleming, NJ.
