"We" know the history. Much like a "Safety Checkpoint" is said to enhance safety measures during increased traffic times, this exercise will increase effectiveness if there is a national emergency. HA! Rednecks think someone is after their guns while intelligent minorities see something different: A veiled attempt at Racial Profiling of Muslims or any people of color. US history indicates that the redneck's suspicions are figments of their over-active imagination, but the minority individuals has concrete evidence of past governmental oppression AND "we've" been through a few Safety Checkpoints and witnessed exactly who was detained. Somethings up, but ol' Rick probably won't have to worry.

We'll see what Mr. Spinks has to say when the gestapo shows up at his front door and barges in to check on what goodies he might have lying around the house that may be deemed a threat to society.

Id be interested in hearing a bit more of the story about the guy in Louisianna that got his gun taken away. I am willing to guarrantee theres more to that story than is being told. A mayor in a major city suspending the 2nd Ammendment of the Constitution would have at least made the non traditional news sources such as NPR and as of yet, I have not heard this story anywhere but in someones letter to the editor.

You complain b/c the government does its job now, but if something were to happen the same people complaining now will be the first to say why didnt they stop it. You cant stop what you arent prepared for and if you dont train, you arent prepared.

Wake up America! Probation is a word that means Communism. The state of Georgia took in over 63 million dollars in standard probation fees in 2008. That does not include fines or special probation. The office in Augusta cannot take the fees, due to lost or stolen money. The probationers have to pay 4.95 to send in their payments. I say if you can't be trusted with the governments money why are you trusted to make decisions that can change lives? I'd say 80% of probationers are from low income families. Is that not taking from the poor to keep the rich fat? I had to deal with the PO in Augusta for 3 weeks, on behalf of a family member. I felt as if I were being molested by the officer, who by the way acted like a Nazi Gestapo. She lied daily, had me jumping through hoops, doing things that were unnecessary and time consuming. Dishonesty from someone employed by the State of Corrections office is just wrong. I say they should all have to under go a lie detector test, as well as a drug test. At least it would weed out the racists, and dishonest ones! I say if you can lie you can steal, and if you steal you can lie! Will speeding get you probation in the future?

Exercises such as this have been going on your entire life, through all the presidents and administrations you have ever known. A review of British history alone will show you that terrorists are not only muslims, but any ideological extremist; it follows that if we are going to identify possible terrorists here we would look at our own ideologues.

Calling someone a "redneck" is a degrading definition of someone's character no matter how you look at it. Saying some white folks are proud to be called a redneck is a stretch of the imagination...even if a small (and I mean small) majority don't have an issue with it, still doesn't mean it's right.

Do you ever wonder how people "know" the truth about 9/11 but nobody else knows it? And here's the story about Robert Baillio. He was pulled over for a traffic violation. He had pro-gun stickers on his car. The officer asked him, "Do you have any weapons in your vehicle?" Baillio said "Yes." The officer took the weapon from his car TEMPORARILY while conducting the questioning. When the officer was done, he gave the gun back to Baillio. According to Rick James and the other nutcases out there, the police officer doesn't have the right to temporarily secure a gun for everyone's safety; instead the officer is supposed to just stand there and hope he doesn't get shot. I hope Rick James and Justus get a chance to meet, I'm sure they will get along famously.

First of all, I did not know anyone still used the word "honky". Second, the word "redneck" come from the miners in West Virginia and Kentucky. The workers wore red around their neck to protest unfair conditions of the mines. It has evolved since then. Thats just my 2 cents.

Mr. James has exaggerated about the "suspension of the 2nd Amendment" in Shreveport, LA. Apparently Mr. Baillio was pulled over by a police officer and when asked if he had a weapon is his vehicle he said yes and the officer took possession of the gun during the subsequent checking of Mr. Baillio's driving record. The gun was returned to Mr. Ballio upon the completion of the traffic stop. It's common sense to think the police officer would not want a citizen to have access to his gun during the traffic stop. The police officer doesn't know if the citizen would use it against the officer.

The video is portrayed as the mayor is against guns, but I see it as a safety issue for the police officers.
