TO MY NEIGHBORS that are on Section 8: You have successfully ruined my neighborhood. Your kids are thieves and have no respect for other people's property. Your yard is a mess and trash is everywhere. Could you please get a job, get your kids under control and take your weave off of the fence? (It's dry now.) Not that you can read this post.

IF SOMETHING isn't done soon about the condition of the city's antiquated bus system, there will be no transit system in Augusta. Fred Russell and the commissioners need to visit this department and see firsthand its deplorable condition, or maybe they will continue to ignore the problems and see if they go away as usual.

THIS IS A RANT to people who drop their kids off at the neighborhood pool and expect other people to watch them. They are your responsibility, not your neighbor's.

WHY DO PEOPLE think it's OK to bring a child under a year old to a movie theater? Movies are not cheap, and people would much rather hear the movie than your baby! Get a baby sitter!

A HUGE RAVE for the employees of Doctors Hospital who gave me a cash donation at Wal-Mart on Tuesday morning to help me purchase school supplies for my classroom. Your kindness and generosity were very much appreciated. Thank you again. May God bless you.

WE VISITED AUGUSTA in June but found Aiken, North Augusta and Waynesboro to be superior in terms of decency. The litter, trash and human behavioral problems will have to be corrected before we would think of returning. I have never seen so many gangster-type young men driving booming cars and skulking around with their underwear showing. Augusta is not family friendly. Why doesn't your sheriff enforce noise and indecent exposure ordinances? I did not even feel safe inside the Augusta Mall.

TO THE RANTER who said "rant to the disgusting gas hog who left an Excursion parked and running at Best Buy Saturday while shopping. You're lucky I didn't key it and slash the tires.": That is destruction of property, and therefore you would be committing a much greater crime than simply leaving a car running.
