PATRIOTS: Signed defensive lineman Darryl Richard , their seventh-round draft pick. Richard played at Georgia Tech and was named second-team All-Atlantic Coast Conference as a senior.
REDSKINS: Selected Kentucky defensive end Jeremy Jarmon in the third round of the NFL supplemental draft. Jarmon had been declared ineligible for his senior season by the NCAA because he tested positive for a banned substance. He said the result came from a dietary supplement.
PACKERS: Prosecutors expect to refile a felony drug charge against defensive lineman Johnny Jolly Jr . after dropping the case. He was arrested last July in Houston for allegedly having at least 200 grams of codeine, which is a controlled substance.
COWBOYS: Tony Romo is starring in an online video spoof, endorsing a few tongue-in-cheek items.
In the video, he says you might not have realized he endorses some "50,000" products -- including gasoline that tastes like chocolate and vice versa. The only real product he pitches is athletic apparel maker Starter, the video's sponsor.
