MILLEN, Ga. - Eunice Alma Edenfield Williams, age 85, died Thursday, July 16, 2009. She was a native of Metter but had lived in Millen most of her life. She had worked at Jockey and retired from Edenfield Clover Farm Supermarket. She was also a member of West Millen Baptist Church where she had been church treasurer, Training Union director, and member of the Women's Missionary Union. She was preceded in death by her husband Joe Robert Williams and parents William Henry and Addie Myram Grubbs Edenfield. Funeral services will be Saturday at 11:00 am at the West Millen Baptist Church with Revs. Ray Freeman and Perry Hearn officiating. Burial will be in the Millen Cemetery. Survivors include her daughter Peggie Jo Williams (Bobby Gene) Pierce of Milner, GA; son, Robert Michael (Sharon) Williams of Modoc, SC; granddaughter and great granddaughter, Addie Marie Williams and Klaudia Williams of Modoc, SC; a sister, Katie Edenfield Lewis of Millen; two brothers, J. R. (Hazel) Edenfield of Metter and Jimmie (Betty) Edenfield of Millen; sister-in-law, Jerolene Williams Grubbs and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Mary Elizabeth Williams (Johnny) Lanier both of Metter and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Clyde (Ollie Ray) Williams of Millen; and several nieces and nephews. Active and Honorary Pallbearers will be deacons and wives of West Millen Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm until 8:00 Friday at the Crowe-Fields Funeral Home of Millen.
