Letterman should be selling hot dogs

  • Follow Letters

In his June 14 letter, "Apology not accepted," William Kemple was right on! I've had a business relationship with Mr. Kemple for 20 years; he is an outstanding Christian friend.

Mr. Letterman is sick, sick, sick. I retire before Mr. Letterman airs, thank goodness.

And to think CBS is paying him millions to spew his verbal garbage!

He should be selling hot dogs on a street corner in New York (not to insult other hot dog sellers.)

I think Letterman is very funny. I think he's an ignorant political commentator that appeals to other politically ignorant people. I hope Palin can sue him successfully for several tens of millions.

Well, Mr. HAdden, many of us

Well, Mr. HAdden, many of us find Mr. Letterman's comedy astute and right on point, especially in regards to Bailin Palin. Maybe if you looked past the lipstick to see the total lack of intelligence, willingness to work and ability to do anything but whine about her critics, you might find Letterman to be funny.

pt, do you even have a brain cell? What is she gonna sue him for? She needs to save her money to defend herself against all the ethics complaints coming at her, quite deservedly.

Copperhead, what if it was your 14 year old daughter that was the butt of Letterman's sick joke. What would you do? As to the ethics suits against Palin, you people can keep on trying. You're 0 for however many that you've done so far. All you've done is waste taxpayer $$.

cop... Calling Sara 'bailin palin' shows just what a hypocrite you really are. To ignore the 'bailin prezbho' who left his IL Senate seat early to run for the US Senate seat and after only 143 days he stopped performing his duties to run for prez. Talk about a quitter. You blind and gullible dims complain about Rush using drugs and you vote for a druggie and a quitter to be prez. Talk about hypocrites

First, GACOP, take it down a notch, pal. You're gonna give yourself a stroke, and for what? Palin? Letterman? Lighten up. And BUDDY, come on, Letterman did apologize. For him to say sorry to a Republican, which I'm sure the network made him do when the sponsors threatened to all pull out, was painful for a glib lib like Letterman. Seeing him eating crow was one of the best moments in TV history, we can all enjoy it again and again on Youtube. Don't keep poking at the sore, enjoy the moment when a lib admitted he was wrong. It doesn't happen often.

Did anybody see the hilarious

Did anybody see the hilarious digs Letterman got in on the ding-bat last night? Of course you didn't, because y'all don't watch him anyway. He has made a joke of the first incidence all over again, and you bright ones can't even see it. Too sophisticated for you, I suppose. Y'all are probably watching re-broadcasts of one of the loonies on Fox during that time slot, anyway, so why WHINE SO MUCH? Hey, Buddy Haddon, if you don't watch him, why complain? You're just being a good ole right-winger like the rest of the boobs and doing as you're told, I reckon.

Alex Rodriguez AND Sarah

Alex Rodriguez AND Sarah Palin should have come against David Letterman's comments with both feet - it was beyond crude and funny. I've been a Letterman fan for a long time but those remarks were way beyond what should have been said and his "apology" was done in such a comedic setting that it was basically worthless. Letterman never got it - either he didn't realize that it was the 14 year old daughter who was at that baseball game or he just didn't care. Whomever wrote that should not have the opportunity to write anything else for him but HE is the one who read it and got the laughs. The audience are just as guilty as he for laughing at a joke that implied the rape of a 14 year old girl by a man whom some claim as a baseball "hero" of some sort. EVERYBODY involved, Governor Palin, the daughter and most of all Alex Rodriguez should all show up at his show at the same time on the same day and see what Letterman would do or say. Comedy should have its limits as to victims but in today's world we laugh at sick statements, at filth Joe Rogan, who is connected with the UFC, recently had a show on TV following a UFC event. I could only watch the first few statements of filth.

Hey LOBO, the reason most "right wingers" as you call them don't watch Letterman is they're asleep so they can get up early and go to work...to pay for all these programs your president is ramming down the throats of the taxpayers! Instead of whining about them, you should be thanking them.

Does Letterman even have the intelligence to run a hot dog stand? I think with an ear piece and a few more jewish wiseguys at his service he just might pull it off but, times square is a tough gig. The only class Letterman ever had was his wingtips...and I think he traded them for a pair of sneakers.....Egad what a cad. Kinda reminds you of a stupid pet trick, only....without the pet.

Hey how about the quitter, incompetent/teleprompter prezbho that won IL Senate seat and quit to run for US senate and quit performing those duties after 143 days (remember he was only 'present' during that time) to run for prez. No comparison to who's the quitter.
