GROVETOWN, Ga. - Mr. Walter L. ("Teeboy") Dunn of Victory Lane entered into rest on Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at University Hospital. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 5, 2009 at 2 p.m. at Solid Rock Baptist Church, Appling, GA with Rev. Willie James Williams officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery. Mr. Dunn, a native of Augusta, was retired from Georgia Iron Works. He was a member and trustee of Rock Baptist Church. Survivors are his wife, Sophia Dunn; three daughters, Lakeyona M. Dunn, Thomson, GA, Angela Tyler, Riverdale, GA, Felisia (Tyrone) Terrell, Powder Springs , GA; three sons, Ricky (Tikishia) Herring, Augusta, Jeffery (Peggy) Lewis, Hephzibah, GA, Alphonzo Lewis, Grovetown, GA; two brothers, Charlie Dunn, Grovetown, Harry (Carolyn) Dunn, Augusta; three sisters, Mamie Garnett, Runette Dunn, Appling, Eva Striggles, Grovetown; twenty grandchildren; three great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Anna Lizzie Dunn, Appling, Rosa Lee Hollomon, Augusta, Alberta Miller, Atlanta; brothers-in-law, Roosevelt Tyler, James E. Tyler, Augusta, John Willie Tyler, Kentucky, IL; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. this evening at the funeral home.
