AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Dana Kanary Mills, 45, entered into rest Friday, July 3, 2009 at Doctors Hospital. A memorial service will be held Monday, July 6, 2009, at 6:00 p.m. at Rowland Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Bob Harkness officiating. Mrs. Mills was an avid gardener. She had fought a long battle against diabetes and heart complications. The family would like to express their acknowledgement to all of her caregivers. Dana is preceded in death by her father, Mr. Danny Kanary. Survivors include her mother and step father, Sharon and Wayne Hayward of Augusta, GA; her sister and husband, Theresa and Chris Hall of North Augusta, SC; and nephews Cole and Brice Hall. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, July 6, 2009 from 5:00 until time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O.
