AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Nancy C. Childs, of Cornell Drive, entered into rest Monday, June 29, 2009, at her residence. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 2, 2009, at 11 a.m. at Mt. Zion A.M.E. Zion Church with Rev. Sharon Childs Caldwell officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olive Memorial Garden. The remains will lie in state at the church from 10 a.m. until the hour of service. Family and friends will assemble at the residence at 10:30 a.m. Williams Funeral Home, 1765 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd.
