BELVEDERE, S.C. - Helen P. Fox, beloved wife of the late Glenn E. Fox, passed away at her home on June 29, 2009. She is survived by her loving daughters, Sandra Perry (Doug), Shelly Fox, Debbie Gomez (Julian), all of Atlanta, and Carla Jones (Curtis) of Athens, her grandchildren, Glenn Strickland, Mark Strickland, Angela Roper, Eric Jones, and Jessica Gomez, five great grandchildren, two sisters, Odessa Little and Joyce Moore, numerous nieces and nephews, and many beloved friends. She was a very active member of Belvedere United Methodist Church for 52 years, where she devoted much of her life as a Sunday school teacher and choir member. She was very much loved and an inspiration to all who knew her. She donated her body to the Medical College of Georgia in the hopes of helping others with rheumatoid arthritis. Her memorial service will be held Sunday, July 12, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. immediately followed by a home-going celebration in the church recreation hall.
