AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Mary P. Lombard, 91, entered into rest Tuesday, June 30, 2009. Mrs. Lombard was a native and lifelong resident of the Augusta area. She was a homemaker and lifelong member of St. John United Methodist Church. Mrs. Lombard was the wife of the late George R. Lombard, the son of the late George S. Lombard, owner of Lombard Iron Works. Family members include her daughters: Jane Cooper of Augusta, G. R. Lombard Tucker of Augusta; 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Cryptside services will be held Friday, July 3, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. at Westover Memorial Park Mausoleum with Rev. Gary DeMore officiating.
