AUGUSTA, Ga. - Funeral Services for Mr. Lindon Avery Haworth, Jr., 49, of Bennock Mill Road, Augusta, Georgia, who entered into rest June 28, 2009, will be conducted Friday morning at 10 o'clock from Woodridge Baptist Church. Dr. Ronald E. Hasty officiating. Interment in Bellevue Memorial Gardens with Full Military Honors rendered by the U. S. Navy. Mr. Haworth was a native of Jacksonville, Florida, having made the Augusta area his home for the past 39 years. He was a member of Woodridge Baptist Church, the Fellowship of Christian Peace Officers and a former Richmond County Sheriff's Deputy. Mr. Haworth was retired from the U.S. Navy with 20 years of service. Survivors include his wife, Robin L. Haworth; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Matthew Avery Haworth, Joseph & April Haworth and Matthew Miskelly all of Augusta; a daughter, Erica Blackwell, Augusta; his father, Lindon Avery Haworth, Sr., Clarks Hill; a sister and her husband, Anita & Richard Goodis, Augusta; two grandchildren, Paula Haworth and Holley Haworth. Pallbearers will be Walter Groover, SWC, Don Glover, SW1, Gary Golovan, UT1, Toby Price, EO1, Nate Burse, CM1, Rick Kuo, CM1 and Robert Bunn, CM1.
