EDGEFIELD, S.C. - Funeral services for Mr. Stanley Oliphant will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, July 2, 2009, at Republican Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Willie Patten officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Mr. Oliphant, a native of Edgefield County, was a member of Trinity Community Church. Survivors include his wife, Linda Moore Oliphant; five sisters, Mildred (George) Brown, Columbia, S.C., Shirley (David) Mealing, Judy (Joseph) Hogg, Sharon (Curtis) Bibbs, and Gloria (Kelvin) Buggs, Edgefield, S.C.; a host of other relatives and friends.
