WARRENTON, Ga. - Mrs. Ruby Cody Brooks, 98, Warrenton, Ga., died Saturday, June 27, 2009. Funeral services will be Thursday, July 2, 2009, at 2 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Warrenton, Ga. Pastor Rev. Isaiah Eberhart presiding and Rev. Melvin Ivey, Eulogist. Interment in the Haynes Cemetery. Survivors include: one daughter, Brenda B. Johnson, Warrenton, Ga.; two sons, Rep. Tyrone (Mary) Brooks, Atlanta, Ga. and Jerome (Paulette) Brooks, Pembroke, Fla.; 15 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and a host of great-great- grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.
