AUGUSTA, Ga. - Marguerite Lillie Mae Thomas Wynn, 76, of Fairfax Court, entered into rest Thursday, June 25, 2009, at her residence . A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2103 Boykin Road, Augusta, GA on Thursday, July 2, 2009, at 11:00 A.M. with Brother Leroy Seabrook, Jr. officiating Marguerite Lillie Mae Thomas Wynn, 76, was born March 1, 1933 in Richmond County, Georgia to the late Charlie Jason and Carrie Ashley Carter. She was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Lewie P. Thomas, Jr. To this union six daughters and one son were born. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Karen Thomas. Sister Wynn was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in March 1982 and worked faithfully until her health failed her in June 2008. She was a loving and devoted mother to her children and grandchildren. She leaves to cherish her memories: five daughters, Geraldine (Lawerance) Bryant, Hephzibah, GA, Dianne Thomas, Sharon Andrews and Shirley Randolph, Augusta, GA and Yolanda McCoy, Statesboro, GA; one son, Lewie P. Thomas, III, Hagerstown, MD; fifteen grandchildren; forty-one great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
