AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Nancy C. Childs, of Cornell Drive, entered into rest Monday, June 29, 2009, at her residence. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 2, 2009, at 11 a.m. at Mt. Zion A.M.E. Zion Church with Rev. Sharon Childs Caldwell officiating. Survivors are one sister, Minnie L. Curry; one son, David (Marilyn) Childs; four daughters, Rev. Sharon (Leonard) Caldwell, Dr. Bonnie (Hubert) Harris, Vicki (Cedric) Johnson, all of Augusta and Min. Linda (Craig) Martin, Seagoville, Texas; 12 grandchildren; 11 great- grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, neighbors, and friends.
