GreenJackets fall to Braves on road

In Rome, Ga., Paul Clemens allowed one run over eight innings and Gerardo Rodriguez hit a two-run homer to lead the Braves to a 2-1 victory over the Augusta GreenJackets.

Rodriguez's shot came in the sixth, after an RBI single from Andy D'Alessio gave Augusta a 1-0 lead in the top half of the inning.

Clemens (4-3) gave up four hits while striking out two and walking one. Jaye Chapman picked up his seventh save of the season.

GreenJackets starter Aaron King (3-5) took the loss. He allowed two runs on four hits over seven innings. He had two strikeouts and two walks.
