WHAT : A patriotic concert recognizing war veterans who are rehabilitating in Augusta

WHEN: 1 p.m. Sunday

WHERE: Trinity-on-the-Hill United Methodist Church, 1330 Monte Sano Ave.

THE CONCERT: The church's sanctuary choir and orchestra will perform at the concert, an annual tradition at the church for about 10 years.

"We want to focus on the wounded warriors, even if it's just a little thing, giving them lunch and playing music," said Jana Hill, the program's chairwoman.

THE VETERANS: Special guests to be honored at the performance include members of the Wounded Warriors program and Warriors in Transition Battalion who are stationed at the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center and Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center.
