CLEMSON, S.C. - Frank Cullen Lucius died on 24th of June, 2009, at Grenvile Memorial hospital. Mr. Lucius 87, resided at Clemson Downs, Clemson, S C. Memorial services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, June 28, 2009 at Clemson Downs, Clemson, South Carolina, in the Ernie Corley Center. A native of Elliott, he grew up in West Palm Beach, Florida, and was the son on Charles Green and Marie Cullen Lucius. He graduated from Palm Beach High School and held a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Engineering from Clemson College. He was an Army Engineer veteran of World War II serving in the Pacific. He was a member of the Enlisted Reserve and American Legion. He was a resident of Aiken from 1953 to 1997 and retired from E. I. Dupont with 40 years service at the Savannah River Plant in the Projects Department. Mr. Lucius was a member of St. John's Methodist Church where he served on the Administrative Board and was a member of the Methodist Men's Club. Survivors are two nephews, Charles G. Lucius III, of Marietta, GA, and Frank H. Lucius of Greensboro, NC, and two nieces, Anne Kleithes, of Columbia, SC, and Marie Taylor, of Greenville, SC. The Mackey Mortuary, Greenville, SC.
